We are open to all genres and seek great work that grounds itself primarily in narrative: traditional, experimental, lyrical, pataphysical—just so the writing is powerful and no longer than 700 words.
Submissions don’t have to be about lightning or keys, though we won’t rule out work that deals with either. In short, if you have written imagistic, traditional or experimental, genre-bending, serious or humorous narrative prose or poetry, we’d love to read it. To read more about our aesthetic, check out the interview we did for Jim Harrington’s blog “Six Questions for” here: http://sixquestionsfor.blogspot.com/2016/05/six-questions-for-patrick-crerand-and.html
You may submit up to three (3) pieces at a time. Simultaneous submissions are expected and accepted, but please withdraw the piece when the work has been accepted elsewhere. We do not accept previously published work.
Please send all work to firstname.lastname@example.org, attaching submissions either as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file. Include a short cover letter and very brief bio as well. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
Please do not send new work until we have responded to your initial submission.
